Air Travel
Return economy class airfares from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth
with Qantas Airways or Singapore Airlines (as applicable to the itinerary) but excluding
all Australian and other Asian airport taxes, fuel surcharges and security charges
(see Note 3).
Accommodation
Share twin 4 star or 5 star accommodation (in more remote regions, only tourist
class hotels are available), with private facilities as specified in the itinerary,
allowing you the benefit of knowing exactly where you will be staying throughout
your tour. Single rooms are subject to the supplementary cost as noted on each tour.
Transfers
All transfers between airports/piers/stations and hotels in each city from your
day of arrival until day of departure.
China Internal Transport
All China internal transport associated with the itinerary by air/boat/rail.
Meals
Most of our tours include daily breakfast, lunches and one dinner in each city.
While most lunches and dinners are Chinese meals, some Western/ Chinese buffets
will be provided. Meals are as specified in the itinerary and noted as: B
– breakfast, L – lunch, D – dinner.
Sightseeing
Daily sightseeing and entrance fees as specified in the itinerary. (Note: Beijing
boat ride not available in winter). Shore excursions on Yangtze cruises.
Evening Entertainment
Included where available in Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Guilin, Lijiang and Suzhou
and as specified in the itinerary (Note: Suzhou not available in winter). For other
cities, refer to individual itineraries.
Tour Guide
Our friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and often entertaining, professional English-speaking
guides will be with you in each city within China.
China Visa & Processing
Cost of your China visa which is valid for 30 days for Australian passport-holders.
Please check requirements if you are holding a passport of another country as an
additional visa cost may be incurred.
Travel Kit and Bag
Ticket wallets including maps of China and the main cities to be visited, Helen
Wong’s Tours China guidebook and a fashionable and durable cabin bag.
China Guidebook
A 424 page ‘CHINA’ guidebook published by Odyssey Books & Guides and valued
at $35.00. (One guidebook will be supplied per booking and additional copies can
be requested at $35.00 each.)
National Guide
Subject to the minimum of 15 persons for each tour, a professional English speaking
National Guide will accompany the group throughout China and attend to your daily
travel arrangements. Your National Guide will work in close association with your
local city guide to ensure that your comfort and satisfaction exceeds your expectations.
Deposit Per Person: $440.00
Land Content
From the arrival transfer at the start of your tour until the departure transfer
at end of the tour. Excludes any international flights or flights between Hong Kong
and China.
Please Note:
- Child fare (2-11 years) is 75% of adult twin share cost and subject
to one child sharing with two adults with a rollaway bed provided. Please note that
on the Yangtze Cruises it is not possible to accommodate a child older than 2 years
in a twin cabin with two adults.
- Triple share accommodation consists of two single beds plus a rollaway/fold-up
bed. This arrangement is not available on the Yangtze Cruises.
- Tour costs are subject to change without notice.
- Airport taxes, security charges and fuel surcharges are not included
in the tour costs and must be added to the total tour price. As these charges fluctuate,
please check with us for the current update of applicable charges. For illustrative
